Sign in to your Viaalink account
Sign the Viaalink CLI in to your viaalink.com account with via login, check who is signed in with via whoami, and sign out with via logout.
What signing in is for
via login signs the Viaalink CLI (via) in to your account on viaalink.com — the same account you use on the website, with your licenses. It is separate from your Relay: to publish, you connect to a Relay, and you do not need to be signed in for that.
via loginvia shows a code like ABCD-EFGH and the page viaalink.com/activate. Open the page in any browser, sign in with your e-mail if you are not signed in yet, check that the code and the device name match, and choose Approve. The CLI picks up the approval by itself. The first time, approving creates your account. On a machine without a browser, via login --no-browser only prints the sign-in link.
A sign-in lasts 30 days and renews while you use the CLI.
Check who is signed in
via whoamiSigned in, it shows your account and its licenses:
✅ Signed in as you@example.comfollowed by a table of your licenses with plan, status, valid until and installations, or ℹ️ No licenses on this account. Not signed in, it prints:
❌ Not signed in. Run `via login` to sign in.and exits with status 1, so scripts can check it.
Sign out
via logoutSigns this CLI out. To sign out a CLI on another device, open your account, find it under Signed-in CLIs and choose Revoke; it is signed out at its next command.
